Description

This view from Loudon Hill is one of Hallowell's most popular. It shows Sheppard's Point and the surrounding area in the days of business and industry in Hallowell. The Milliken sawmill is on the left. The Fuller Foundry and Knickerbacker ice house occupy Sheppard's Point and the Hallowell Cotton Mill is in the background. Captured logs and buildings on rafts belong to the Hallowell Steam and Boom Company.
