True's Blacksmith Shop, Cumberland, ca. 1880

Description

Colonel Samuel True owned property on Main Street at the corner of Blanchard Road. He had his residence there with the blacksmithing shop next door. The Cumberland Center Post Office was located in his home, for some amount of time, and he is listed in the 1875 Maine Register as Postmaster.
