A scene from the play "Le marchand de la rue", Biddeford, ca. 1920.
This was one of the many plays put on by J. J. Salvas' amature acting troupe in Biddeford and in other Franco communities throughout southern Maine.
The actors in this scene: Albert Parenteau, Aurore (Gagne) Belair, Dora (Hanna) Belanger, Ernest Nadeau, and Albanie Plourde.
