Description
George Washington Pierce (1836-1910), the son of Evelina Lewis and Josiah Pierce of Gorham, was named after his uncle, George Washington Pierce (1805-1835), who died the year before his nephew's birth.
The picture was taken in Gorham at Christmas 1899.
