Description
Members of the Civilian Conservation Corps crew from Alfred Camp line up in front of their trucks.
The camp was part of the Maine Forest Service Forest Protection program. Crews were involved in disease and insect control on Maine trees.
The Alfred Camp opened in June 1933 and closed in November 1941. Many of the members of the crew were from Massachusetts.
