Sardine worker housing, Lubec, 1951

Description

These “camps” along Johnson Street in Lubec were provided by Lubec Sardine Co. Plant B for employee lodging.

Plant B later became the Booth factory, the last sardine packer in Lubec village to discontinue operations in the early 21st century.
