Schooner Whitebelle Wreck, Lubec, 1931

The Whitebelle was the last four-masted schooner built in Canada and foundered at Gulliver's Hole, off West Quoddy Head, on May 22, 1931. The impact broke the vessel in half dumping a portion of the coal cargo into the ocean.
