Green Street, Thomaston looking south, ca. 1871

Description

Looking down Green Street and across the Georges River toward Brooklyn Heights. The street was named after Ballard Green, an early Thomaston businessman.

In 1875, Dunn and Elliot built a sail loft at the bottom of the street on the river side.
