Contributed by New Portland Historical Society
This building began as a high school, and later served as an elementary school with students in K-6 attending.
The building was later a grange hall, a daycare center and library, and now is the historical society for the town of New Portland.
This photograph shows an addition on the side of the school used for outhouses and as a wood shed.
