Description

Sweetser School was built in 1894 and was originally called the Spring Street School. It was later named the Sweetser School in honor of Cornelius Sweetser one of Saco's most generous benefactors. The sign in the right hand corner states, "Crossing This Yard With Teams Strictly Forbidden".
