Description

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ball of Andover, Massachusetts, purchased an existing property in 1901 and renamed the small cottages Balls Camps.

Sporting camps became popular in Grand Lake Stream after the tannery that had created and dominated the town closed in 1883.
