Description

Flood waters appear to be receding after the Brimmer Bridge Reservoir Dam gave way. The dam was built to hold back a reservoir of water 15 miles long and 6 miles wide.

Two thirds of the boats stored at the Ellsworth Foundry, shown in this image, were ripped from their moorings and drifted off to sea.
