Description

A Blue Ribbon Winner. This is the type of carriage and the style of dress that was prevalent in the early 1900s. These carriages could be seen at Robin Hood Park Raceway in Bar Harbor and on the carriage roads in what is now Acadia National Park.

Such postcards were often copies of illustrations done by local artists depicting the area and period.
