Employees in front of Bonython School in Saco are front row: Annie Cobb and Alice Fogg (teachers); seated: John Staples Locke (Supt. of Schools), Lucy Boothby & Belle Baker (teachers); standing: Nicol (Janitor), Lizzie Cleaves (teacher), Alvia Merrill (writing teacher).

The Bonython School was located on School Street, opposite the Unitarian Church. It closed in 1960-61 and later burned.
