Film footage of Richardson Field in Portland, now Hadlock Field, where several men's baseball leagues, like the Twilight League, played their games.
The film excerpt contains images of baseball players, the Portland Exposition building in the background, a city official shaking hands with the team captains and throwing out the first ball, and about 500 fans cheering in the bleachers.
The film was taken ca. 1940 by the Portland Engraving Company for the city of Portland.
