Description
A view of the historic residence of the Hon. Benjamin Orr at 153 Park Row, Brunswick. The house was built about 1819. In 1846, it was a "Brunswick Seminary" and in the early 19th century it was a primary school kept by Mr. Pike, and residence of Rev. Adams, Congregational minister.
Isaac L. Skolfield, son of George and Lydia Doyle Skolfield, acquired the residence in 1871 and his son, George Lincoln Skolfield acquired the house in 1910. Isaac's brothers, Alfred and Samuel owned the double residence at 159 Park Row.
