Description
This unknown ceremony was held at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford. There are several American flags present. Among the possibilities, it could be a Fourth of July ceremony, a burial of a WWI soldier or burial of a well-known local militia commander. The focus of attention appears to be the large white headstone just to the right of center. The date is 1904 or later as a headstone bearing 1904 is visible in the image.
