The Anthoine Creek basin and plant of Texas Oil Co. (Texaco) in South Portland.

The Portland Bridge is in the background.

The oil company is located on Turner's Island, at one time an important railroad repair shop center for the Eastern Division of the Boston & Maine Railroad.
