Description

The bow of a ship on Way #5 at the West Division of the South Portland Shipbuilding Corp. on Feb. 20, 1943.

The ship became the John Trumball. After the war, it was sold privately and scrapped in 1970.

The company built Liberty Ships for the U.S. Maritime Commission during World War II.
