Contributed by Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum

Description

For use with wood burning, cast iron stoves. Copper tubing was used to carry the water from the tank and through a coil in the stove where the water was heated and then returned to the tank. Since the kitchen stove was always hot, this system provided enough hot water for bathing and other needs.
