The postcard shows the bridge over Lake Wassokeag in Dexter.

Postmarked Aug. 16, 1927 in Dexter, the card is addressed to John Reeves of Congress Street, Portland.

The message, which begins on the back and continues on the front, reads: "Cars seen before going
To Portland -- 21
Going to Portland -- 8

Going to Dexter -- 6
Total -- 36
