This aerial photograph of Caribou shows the Aroostook River, the dam and the Caribou bridge.
The Caribou Trotting Park and grandstand are also visible.
The large white tent on the infield of the Trotting Park indicates that the Downing Brothers Circus was in town. The circus included a big top, a wild west show and an animal menagerie.
