Description

Nasson Institute students in Springvale pose for a photo in about 1915.

The school was founded in 1912 as a two-year, post-secondary program for women. It became a four-year college -- Nasson College -- in 1935, and first admitted men in 1952. The college closed in 1983, and then reopened for a few more years..
