Description

The envelope of needlecraft supplies was mailed from Augusta to Mrs. Wm. S. Hooser, Box 71, Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. This envelope illustrates the cross border commerce between New Brunswick and Maine.

The postage stamp is a green 1 cent Franklin, issued in 1922 and used up until the introduction of the presidential series in 1938.
