Description

Probably an early product of the Stanley Tool Co. and an excellent example of the most sought after of 19th century plumb bobs.
Size: 4 3/4" long.

A plumb bob (also called plummet) is a pear-shaped weight made out of lead, brass, steel or stone. Used to show verticality when suspended on a line.
