Captain P.A. Griffin, Searsport, 1863

Capt. P.A. Griffin was from Searsport and was the master of the ship C.W. White that sailed to the Chincha Islands in 1863.

He advised his sons to go West, instead of going to sea. One went to Kansas, another to Oklahoma.
