Description

This photograph, taken from the roof of the Maine General Hospital on Bramhall Street, shows Congress Street and Park Avenue. The large building with the curved roof in the distance is the Exposition Building, which is located on Park Avenue. The Expo, as it is known, was built in 1914 and designed by Frederick A. Tompson.

Maine General Hospital is now known as Maine Medical Center.
