Slide projector, Bucksport, ca. 1908

Description

This slide projector was used by George Wardwell in 1908 to show people the slides he had of the expedition to the North Pole with Admiral Peary.

Wardwell did not go all the way to the North Pole.

After his death, his son Maynard continued to use the projector.
