Description
This buttonhook has stamped on the side: "H. L. Hutchins, Fryeburg, Maine, Shoes for the whole family." Shoes and boots often had buttons for closures and required a hook to slip the buttons into the button holes.
The H. L. Hutchins store was located in North Fryeburg.
