Brown Company Automated seed potato cutting system, Littleton, c. 1955

Description

This Brown Company automated seed potato cutter improved efficiency over simple hand cutting. Workers loaded potatoes onto moving holders and the potatoes were cut behind a protective screen. This arrangement reduced the risk of workers catching a hand in the mechanism.
