This is a digital photo of the first store in Stockholm. Started by the Anderson brothers, Lewis and John in 1902. Lewis operated this store as mainly a hardware store while John then went across town and started a grocery store. Later, Mr. Baxter operated the store and later still, Mr. Fogelin owned the store. His niece, Shirley Anderson Sjostedt, sold the buildings to the Stockholm Historical Society which now contains hundreds of artifacts and papers and is open to the public, free, during the summer or by appointment.
