Description

Volume 4 of the book of grants contains records relating to colonial land settlement and distribution, created by the Plymouth Company, otherwise known as the Kennebec Proprietors, who laid claim to roughly 1,500 square miles on either side of the Kennebec River in the decades before the American Revolution.
