Description

Plymouth Company Letter Book Volume 1 contains correspondence relating to land settlement and company activity along the Kennebec River during the years 1749-1816. Volume 1 contains 304 pages and has limited index information written on the cover verso and back cover.

Notable correspondents in Volume 1 include Governor John Wentworth, the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, Sir William Baker, and Governor Thomas Pownall.
