Architecture commission for Hannaford Brothers Company at Commercial Street in Portland, ME, 1919–1920. The commission is associated with John Calvin Stevens and John Howard Stevens Architects. This item is part of the Stevens Architects drawings and records collection.

Hannaford Bros. was started in 1883 by brothers Arthur and Howard Hannaford, who opened a wholesale store in Portland, Maine, to sell fruit and vegetables from their father's farm. In 1902, brothers Howard, Edward and Philip established Hannford Bros. Co.
