Chair/table, possibly York County, ca. 1715

Contributed by Old York Historical Society

This pine table was probably made in York County.

The top is made of three planks held together by two braces. A wooden bar pinned through the braces secures the top to the base.

There are traces of the original black paint under a later coat of Spanish brown paint.
