Republican candidates for governor and Congress got together after the June primary in 1982 for a kickoff for the November election. From left are gubernatorial candidate Charles Cragin, Cong. David Emery who was running for the U.S. Senate, and John McKernan, running for the First District Congressisonal seat being vacated by Emery.
