Description

Volume 7 of the Pejepscot Proprietors Papers is comprised of records that relate to territory disputes with rival companies. Materials included are copies and references to the Fernando Gorges patent, the suspension of courts during the French and Indian Wars, and John Gyles deposition. Also included are Massachusetts General Court votes, papers relating to Thomas Purchas, and papers relating to Pere Pole.
