Pejepscot Company Records, Volume 1B, 1741-1814

Description

Volume 1B of the Pejepscot Proprietors records is contained within Volume 1A, the pages are simply written upside down and on the back side of the main volume. Volume 1B is comprised of copies of deeds, meeting minutes, powers of attorney, and correspondence. This volume also deals with topics relating to the company’s dispute with the Kennebec Proprietors, which began around 1750.
