Description
On April 19, 1917, Company K of the Second Maine Infantry Division paraded down Main Street in Farmington.
The unit was based in Farmington and was part of the New England National Guard during World War I. The parade, in honor of Patriots Day, was part of a national effort to boost enlistment in the armed forces.
