Description

Manuscript map #335 showing survey of land owned by Samuel Sylvester. Surveyed on November 5th, 1813. Tract of land formerly known as Prout's Gore, 4 miles from the Androscoggin River, lying between Brunswick and North Yarmouth, is now part of Freeport, Maine.

This map was created for the Proprietors of the Township of Brunswick, also known as the Pejepscot Proprietors, an early land settlement company created to colonize present day Maine.
