Entrance elevation for the Wadsworth-Longfellow House, 1936

Description

An architectural drawing shows the entrance elevation of the Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland. The house was built in 1785 and 1786.

The Works Progress Administration conducted the Historic American Building survey in the 1930s. This drawing, entitled "The Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House," was completed by J. Bradley Minott and Joseph Depeter in 1936. This is sheet 1 of 13, survey No. Maine 2.

The original drawings reside at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
