Description
Carl Merrill transported school children from 1930 until his retirement in the late 1960s.
This photograph shows Carl standing beside a new bus at the Washington School located in Upper Abbot, a typical one-room school house which, as of 2014, was still standing on Route 15 outside the town of Abbot.
