Schooner Savannah and her captain William H. Gould

Contributed by Brick Store Museum

The schooner Savannah was commissioned by Captain William H. Gould with the builder David Clark and was launched in 1901.

Photographs of the Savannah with an insert of Captain Gould were evidently given as gifts by the captain. This one is inscribed on the back: Compliments of Wm. H. Gould, Savannah, May 29th 1902.

The Savannah's port in the photograph is not identified.
