Description

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, a recommendation was made by the Center for Disease Control that people keep a "social distance" of at least 6 feet from anyone who does not live in their immediate household.

This sign, posted at Wolfe's Neck State Park in Freeport and produced by the Bureau of Parks and Lands, used silhouettes of familiar Maine wildlife, one black bear, two loons, and three raccoons, to help park goers visualize the recommended six foot separation.
