Description

Governor Alvin T. Fuller of Massachusetts at the Poland Spring House for the seventeenth annual governors convention. The men to either side of him are the Ricker brothers, Edward (left) and Hiram (right). The Ricker family owned and operated the resort.

From June 29 to July 4, over a dozen governors and several Lt. governors and former governors, from across the country visited Maine with their families came to attend the seventeenth annual governors convention.
