Monument Square, Portland, ca. 1920

Description

Monument Square as been a centerpiece for downtown Portland for many years. The monument, which is called Our Lady of Victories, remains the same today and has "to her sons who died for the union" written on under her. The trolley lines have since departed and cars bustle the streets today.
