From July 12 to July 18 of 1925, the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NFBPWC) held their seventh annual convention in Portland. In attendance were women from across the nation.
A clambake on Peaks Island was part of the festivities on July 15. The clambake drew all 2,000 convention delegates to the island.
