Engine 182, Oakfield Yard turntable, 1925

Description

Bangor and Aroostook Railroad's Engine 182 on the Oakfield Yard's hand powered turntable. Note the wooden lever in the foreground on the turntable. When the engine was balanced and the pivot point was well greased, an engine could be turned on the turntable by one man.
