Description

The Federal Style Unitarian-Universalist Church in Castine was built between 1831 and 1832. An ambrotype by an unknown photographer was captured some thirty years later, circa 1860. The image is housed in an elaborate plastic, perhaps celluloid, frame enhanced with a floral motif.
