Christmas party at Central Theater, Biddeford, ca. 1948

Children stood outside the Central Theater in Biddeford and waited for the local 305T, AFL-CIO Union Christmas Party to start.

The Union sponsored events for the families of Pepperell mill workers because, it was a way to show appreciation for their membership.

The movie playing at the theater was “Race Street” starring Marilyn Maxwell, William Bendix, and George Raft. The children were not attending the film.
